RUN-THROUGHS BEGIN

Three weeks of run-throughs begin Monday, October 7. Unless noted, all run-throughs are for the full cast.  Students should bring homework or other quiet study materials to rehearsal for those down times between scenes.  Dress rehearsals (full costumes and orchestra) begin Sunday evening, October 27.

CAST BIOGRAPHIES NEEDED SOON

Any cast member who wishes to have a short bio in the Les Mis program needs to submit it ASAP.  Bios should be written in the third person and be 50 words or less.  Bios should be submitted via email if possible.  Bios should reflect the tone and professionalism of the show...no outlandish, purposefully strange or inappropriate comments please.

LOOK FOR SHOES!

Our costumers will NOT be providing shoes for the actors, so begin now to look for appropriate footwear.  No athletic shoes, work boots, or other obviously modern shoes allowed.

PARENTS--SIGN UP TO HELP

We need several volunteers to help with costume fitting and organization during rehearsals and performances.  Costumes will be ready on Saturday, October 19.  We also need parents to help supervise the staging area during dress rehearsal and performances, and one parent to help our house manager with ticket sales.  If you can help in any of these areas, please email with your specific available dates.

REHEARSAL OCTOBER 11

On Friday, October 11 (State Inservice Day) we will have a run-through of the entire show from 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m.  Following the rehearsal, we will distribute posters around the community.

LES MIS in the NEWS

Hope you all caught the excellent article by Janet Cook in the HR News about our visit to Dignity.  Thanks also to Mark Nykannen for his follow up letter.  The Oregonian recently reported that the Broadway Les Mis is closing in March, 2003, after 16 years.
