Rehearsal and Performance Schedule

Parent Meeting

Any and all parents wishing to help at rehearsals, on publicity, fundraising, costuming, set construction, etc…we will have an organizational meeting on MONDAY, September   16 at 7 p.m. in the music room.  We need your help!  We will need a parent to fill each of the following positions:  costume fitter/ manager; staging area manager; refreshment coordinator; publicity and fund-raising coordinator; special events coordinator.  If you would like to volunteer for any of these positions, please email me (mdstg@gorge.net)

Clean Out Your Attics and Garages! Give Us Your Tired, Poor Furniture!

We need lots of old wooden furniture for the Barricade! We’re looking for old wooden (lightweight if possible) chairs, tables, drawers, frames, etc.  We will start collecting this stuff at the end of September.  Just think, your junk could become part of history!

In the Spirit of Les Misérables

Since opening in London in 1985, casts of Les Mis have raised tens of millions of dollars for charity by donating the profits from performances to various worthy causes.  In this spirit, and to join our production to the legacy of other Les Mis companies around the world, we are considering donating the income from our Tuesday night performances to charity.  Wouldn’t it be great to start a new tradition amongst the many high schools that will be producing this show in the coming years?  If you have suggestions as to worthy causes, please email them or bring them to the parent meeting on September 16.  One possibility I have looked into is the organization SEEDS OF PEACE.  Check it out!
