To one man is a victim of his environment, to another he is merely sick or misguided. Yet to another he is a mere pawn of fate. But if we go to the Owners Manual, the Bible we find quite a different view of both what man is like in the state wherein he was born as well as his condition after he has been reconciled to his God. We must see with great clarity and understand WHAT MAN IS LIKE before we make any attempt to deal with him in religious matters. If he is not "too bad", then he is not in a great need of a Saviour and Mediator. If he is a product of his environment, then we have to work and change his surroundings. If he is a product of blind fate, well then, its hopeless to talk about change. However if he is "dead" alienated from God, then we have to ask the question, HOW CAN A DEAD MAN BE MADE ALIVE? We can do little more than barely introduce this subject in this setting, but we hopefully will "incite" you to search further and CONSIDER WELL what we are saying. Much disagreement comes in any realm when we do not try to see the whole scope,
the "big picture."
