A frequent answer is, "Well, you know GOD." or "God is love." But many will be honest and say, "You know, I never thought too much about that". I just believed in God. And very kindly we ask, "Which one?" Paul tells us in the Bible book of Romans that men have made themselves many kinds and shapes of God, some out of material, others in their minds. Since there is only ONE TRUE GOD, we would do well to find out what THAT ONE is like.

We are told that He created all things, and that we have sinned against Him, further that we must repent and believe in Him, go on to love, trust, obey, follow Him.

How can I love, trust, obey, follow someone that I do not know.

Would we possibly apply this in our dealings with each other?

The more we know about someone, the more we come to trust or distrust; respect or disrespect; love or have an aversion for.

So with GOD, the more we know of Him, the more we love Him or hate Him. The more we desire to follow Him, or keep clear of Him. The more we wish to honor Him, or dishonor Him in disobedience.

While God is described as UNSEARCHABLE, which means that we can not know ALL about Him, we CAN KNOW SOME THINGS ABOUT HIM. While He is described in the Bible as SPIRIT, we cannot see Him, yet much is revealed in His Word and creation of what His Person is. While He is PERFECT and we are IMPERFECT, He has made a way so we may approach Him. He has provided a MEDIATOR, a "go between", if you please. One that is described as a Savior, a Redeemer for sinful and imperfect man. Those are the three matters that we need to see clearly, as we proceed in this path. MARK THEM WELL!

	What is He doing?
	What will He yet do?

Knowing the only true GOD is all important.
