Our Mission Statement

The Dalles SDA School is committed to the belief that true education "has to do with the whole being, and with the whole period of existence possible to man. It is the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers. To this end, The Dalles Adventist School is committed to providing a safe, nurturing environment with opportunities for developing a Christ-like character, pursuing academic growth, developing a healthy physical lifestyle, and experiencing the joy of sharing talents, skills, and knowledge with those around us.

Enrollment is open to all families who desire a Christian education for their children and who are in agreement with the standards of our school.

School Profile

We are part of the largest parochial school system in the world. Seventh-Day Adventist Christian schools have been operated around the world for over a century. Our curriculum is designed to develop the whole person; Mentally, Physically, and Spiritually. It is taught using a blend of proven techniques from our wide experience in education and the latest, most effective methods of instruction derived from research in learning styles. Our teachers are highly trained, caring professionals who work hard to see that each child develops fully his or her God-given potential.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have. Our school hours are from 8:30 to 3:00 M-Th, and 8:30 to 2:00 Fridays. Please call just before or after school is in session. Mr. Garvin may be reached at home evenings from 7-9 PM.
