Wind River Watershed Council

The Wind River Watershed Council was formed in the mid-1990s, to help guide restoration efforts in the Wind River watershed. UCD facilitates the efforts of the Council. Currently the group is chaired by Dan Gundersen, a landowner on the lower portion of the Wind River.

In the past, the Council met monthly, on the third Wednesday of the month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.  Due to changes in funding, meetings are now quarterly, so please call UCD to confirm meeting times: 509-493-1936.

We're coordinating efforts to apply for grant funding to support the Wind River Watershed Council and could use your writing/editing/idea generating help!  Call or e-mail us if you’re interested in helping out: 509-493-1936 ~ tovacochrane@gorge.net
