Oregon Masters Swimming

Oregon Masters Swimming is a Local Masters Swimming Club (LMSC) in the Northwest Zone of the United States Masters Swimming (USMS). Oregon Masters Swimming promotes lifelong fitness and fun by offering organized swimming for adults of all ages and ability levels. They offer a variety of activities including swimming clinics, pool competition and open water swimming.

What we know about Masters swimmers:

  • 100% swim for fitness and camaraderie.
  • 85% have never been in a structured training program.
  • Only 15-20% have had prior competitive swimming experience.
  • Most swim 3-4 times per week.
  • People join because of the personal attention, experience and motivation they receive from a coach and from swimming with a group
