1966 Marusho Magnum
This is an unrestored Marusho
Magnum. It is a Japanese copy
of a BMW R-50. It handles
much differently and actually
rides very nice. It is my
understanding that it is the
only known example of this
machine which has matching
Engine and Frame numbers.
This bike has been sold.
1967 Marusho
Magnum Electra
This Marusho is the 4th Electra made,
out of 124 total. No spare parts were
made, but luckily many of the parts are
the same as the prior models. Major
changes were made to the Crankcase
and Transmission case to accomodate
an Electric Starter. This bike has 2,200
actual miles, and will be undergoing a
restoration. The bike has been Sold.

Above are before and after pictures of the Electra. This was a very minor restoration. Too many of the
original parts had good finishes, and it would be a shame to lose the original finish forever. This is
example is as close as possible to original. Even the frame was so good I could not bring myself to
powder coat it or even paint the whole thing. I only touched up the parts that needed it. As far as
paint, only the Gas tank and the left side cover needed to be painted. The rest of the paint is almost
perfect. Chrome is a different story. Virtually every piece of chrome on this bike had to be re-plated.
