1967 Moto Guzzi V-700

This is a 1967 Moto Guzzi V700. The V700 is the first V-twin produced by Guzzi. I remember seeing one of these in Eugene Oregon in 1967 or 1968 and thought it was the most beautiful motorcycle in the world. Several attempts had been made to add one of these to my collection. The first was another 67, but it had chrome fenders and other upgrades that just did not live up to what I wanted. Also had an Eldorado for a while, but just was not the right thing for me. In 2006 I ran across this one on E-bay. Of course it was in sad shape, and had sat for about 30 years in a garage in California. I did a complete restoration on it in 2007.

This is the Eldorado that was going to my project, but decided to hold out for the V-700.
