1950 Velocette MAC 350cc

What would a Motorcycle Collection be without a Velocette. I purchased the MAC in 2007 at the Auction in Las Vegas. Although I had accumulated several hard to find parts, It sat around until mid January of 2008 when the MG was completed. Below you will see pictures of the assembly and the completed bike. I rode it for 4 of the 5 days on the 2008 North American Velocette Club rally. (LE on the other day) . The bike was judged against quite a few others, and it received the honor of getting the peoples choice award for rigid frame class. As of November 30 it has about 2800 miles on it. I have just completed fabrication of a system to drain the oil out of the Valve Spring cups, which is a problem the factory did not deal with on the MAC until 1951.
