Warriors
Jeremy my son and I each have a 2000 Yamaha Warrior ATV mine
is Factory Blue, and his is White and Red. They are powered by the reliable
350cc air-cooled four-stroke engine, and have a lot of torque down on the low end.
We’ve only ridden them 4-5 times so far, and they aren’t really broken in yet.
I was very surprised at how well they ride as compared to a motorcycle, and how
well they do get around on rough and steep terrain. There have been some places
that I thought for sure I’d need four-wheel drive, but no… the Warrior’s just
grip the ground and chug right through anything. I did get high centered once
on a rock I didn’t see while making a water crossing, and didn’t like that too
much. I have found that for an old guy, four wheeling on an ATV is something
that is definitely do-able.
