Water

You Autumn cloud come between the sun

so bright, your tracery of vein, flesh white

wide eyes flash concupisence, orbs coruscant of light.

In your umbra, plasma-shot, my skeleton is dry

a planetary wander of emotion

swung upon a course through complex gravities

the past my surface impact-cratered

steep with seed, yet barren oceans.

Be my oceans, cover me your water

somewhere shallow, somewhere deep

fill my valleys laughing, weather mountain peaks

snow cold above Spring's eager blossom.

Be my oceans, grow loving plankton green

and raining in upon you, I will be your seas.
