Canine Clicker Training

New York City dog trainer Bob Bellamy is now conducting classes for Mt. Hood Community College in Portland, OR. The course will be 10 weeks long and each class will be 2 hours long for the price of $60 for all 10 classes. That works out to only $3.00 per hour. This is an excellent opportunity to try out clicker training and practice reward-based methods.

Teach your dog without punishments and get better results. Clicker Training is not bribing your dog, it is a proven and commonsense learning system. This class is an on-going opportunity for participant's to develop their understanding of how their dog's learn and to increase the skills needed to train their companion animals through humane and non-confrontational methods. Participants will learn various reward-based training techniques to promote canine good citizenship and teach basic obedience behaviors.

Dog Distress Clinics

Whether it is you or your dog that is distressed, this class is for you.

Learn ways to deal with common problem behaviors using techniques to train your dog without punishments. Each session will include a discussion on a specific problem area followed by hands-on training techniques to solve your dog's little and not so little difficulties. Only reward-based methods such as Clicker Training will be used in correcting problem behaviors.

Students must come without their dog the first week in order to bring them to future classes. All areas of concerned will be covered each weeks Q&A sessions.

This course is deigned to be compliment the Canine Clicker Trainer class (Course # AGR4CC-07).
