Beef, Italian Style

In a large skillet with a little oil, brown beef and set aside. Sizzle onions for 5 min. Add garlic for 30 seconds. Add mushrooms and tomato sauce broth w/thickening. Stir until it comes to a boil and thickens. Add diced tomatoes, bell peppers, and add back beef to skillet.

Simmer, covered, on low for 2 hours.

Turn off heat. Add grated parmesan as desired. Serve with pasta, rice, or mashed potatoes.
