Oven Roasted Pork Ribs


  1. Season ribs: Rub liberally with dry BBQ rub. Refrigerate for one hour.
  2. Place ribs in crockpot, cover and cook on low for 5 hours. (at about 250 degrees F)
  3. Heat oven to 275 degrees F. Remove ribs from crockpot and place in uncovered oven pan. Heat for 30 minutes, turning once, to form a crust.
  4. Cover ribs liberally with bottled BBQ sauce. Raise oven temp to 300 degrees F. Heat ribs about 30-45 minutes until they look good.
  5. Optional: Heat ribs under broiler to partially blacken.
  6. Remove ribs from oven and allow to rest under cover for at least 30 minutes.
  7. Serve.


DRY BBQ RUB

Mix and store in jar at room temperature.

Useful for pork and chicken, and sometimes beef. (But it's usually too sweet for beef.)
