Baked Mashed Potatoes

  1. Preheat oven to 350 deg. F
  2. Boil potatoes for 12 min
  3. Drain potatoes, leave in saucepan with cover to keep warm.
  4. Add butter + garlic salt + turmeric.
  5. Wait for butter to melt for a minute or so.
  6. Mash with potato masher (or large fork) until thick and even (no lumps).
  7. Add milk, mash again.
  8. Stir in sour cream and grated cheese.
  9. Spoon into greased casserole dish.
  10. Bake, covered, for 30 minutes.
