Baked Mashed Potatoes
- 2 potatoes, peeled and chopped into chunks
- 1-2 TBL real butter
- garlic salt + turmeric + salt
- about 1/8 cup milk
- about 1/8 cup sour cream
- about 1 oz. cheddar cheese, grated

- Preheat oven to 350 deg. F
- Boil potatoes for 12 min
- Drain potatoes, leave in saucepan with cover to keep warm.
- Add butter + garlic salt + turmeric.
- Wait for butter to melt for a minute or so.
- Mash with potato masher (or large fork) until thick and even
(no lumps).
- Add milk, mash again.
- Stir in sour cream and grated cheese.
- Spoon into greased casserole dish.
- Bake, covered, for 30 minutes.
