Classic Brownies
- 2 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1 egg
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped

- Preheat oven to 350 deg. F
- Combine in large saucepan: margarine and cocoa
- Heat and stir until margarine is melted
- Cool. Add egg and vanilla. Stir until smooth.
- Stir in baking powder, baking soda, flour, salt, walnuts, and
evaporated milk.
- Pour mixture into greased baking pan.
- Bake for 30 min. Toothpick inserted should come out clean.
