Oven BBQ Chicken

Preheat oven to 325 deg. F. Make sure rack is set at broiling height.

Remove skin from thighs, oil each piece with vegetable oil, season with garlic salt, roll in flour and place in hot frypan with about a TBL of vegetable oil on medium heat.

Brown thighs about 15 min, turning frequently.

Remove chicken from frypan and place on rack in broiler-proof pan. Spoon about a TBL of BBQ sauce on top of each piece. Spread out sauce to coat one side of each piece. Place in oven.

Bake at 325 deg. F for 15 min.

Turn chicken and spread BBQ sauce on other side of chicken. Heat for another 15 min.

Leave pan in oven and set oven to broil. Broil for about 3-4 min until BBQ sauce on top begins to bubble and crust.

Remove chicken and let rest for 5 min. Internal temperature of chicken should be at least 165 deg. F.
