| The stock swingarm skidplate on a 400ex is quite durable, however after bending it back and forth several times it begins to crease and lose its effectiveness. This aluminum plate takes the big rock hits with less damage, and when it does bend bad it's more forgiving and easier to form than the steel stocker. After numerous intentional impacts this skid showed only minor scratches and a few small dents. In my opinion it held up admirably for the hell I put it through. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good swingarm skid plate.
