Rockman Headphone Amps
The headphone amps are pretty much where it all started for
Rockman (after the Power Soak, which was their first product). At a
time when the Sony Walkman was just gaining popularity, along comes Tom Scholz
with his own take on the mini headphone craze, The SR&D Rockman. Not content
however to just invent a portable guitar headphone amp, he actually managed to
make the thing sound like a Boston record. That fat, rich, one of a kind tone
that has Tom Scholz written all over it. Well, it was just a matter of time
before the Rockman line grew to include rackmounts and full blown
amplifiers.
