Rockman XPR
The Rockman XPR was sort of an attempt to combine all the basic features of the Rockmodules into a single rack unit. While sacrificing some of the versatility of the full blown Rockmodule setup, it's still an impressive processor and blows away many of the other multi processors out there. It features compression, Smartgate, distortion, echo, reverb, chorus, pre and post distortion EQing, is midi controllable and is fully programmable. It's also the only Rockman device that allows you to mix clean and distortion together. The fact that it's completely analog means there's no delay between hitting your footswitch and getting your sound. Try that with your digital effects processor! It was available as a stand alone unit as well as being featured built right into a few different amplifiers including the XP 212 (a 100 watt guitar amp with either two 12" Eminence, or two 12" Celestion speakers), the XPH Superhead (a 100 watt head only) and most notably the XP-100 Portable Amplifier that resembles a "boombox" and enables you to seperate the left and right speakers.
