We encourage participants to park in the Bonneville Hot Springs parking lot in the morning starting around 6am. There will be shuttles and car pooling from there to the race start at Panther Creek Campground. The last shuttle will leave at 7am for the start. Parking at the finish will not only be more convenient it will eliminate parking problems at the start where there is limited parking.
From Portland take I-84 E to Cascade Locks exit 44, take the Bridge of the Gods (toll 1$) across the Columbia River to Hwy 14, turn left(west) on Hwy 14 to Bonneville Hot Springs exit, mile post 38.5.
From Vancouver/I-5 or 205 S take Hwy 14 E. to Bonneville Hot Springs Exit mile post 38.5. If you reach Bridge of the Gods, you’ve gone too far.
From Portland or Vancouver go east on I-84 or Hwy 14 respectively. From I-84 take exit 44, cross the Bridge of the Gods (toll 1$) into Washington. Go east and through the town of Stevenson to the Carson Exit or Wind River Hwy. Go north, through the town of Carson, 6 miles on the Wind River Hwy till Forest Road 65 or the Panther Creek Campground sign. Go 4 miles north on Forest Road 65 to Panther Creek Campground.
Travelers from the East should take Hood River Bridge (.75$ toll) to Hwy 14 and go west to the start or the finish.
