Lyle Landing

Circa 1904 photo of Lyle Landing.  The train delivered mail to Lyle from the Dalles and ran to Goldendale.  The mail carrier was Byrd Clark who is standing at the rear of the car in the photo.  The steamer Baily Gatzert is also pictured.  Shown also is the covered dock which served as the loading platform for the train and steamer..
