I just started this
I will add more as I have time!

Animal Poem

I'm a little kitty,
I love to tippy toe.
Won't you do it with me?
Ready now, let's go.

I'm a little rabbit,
I love to hop, hop, hop.
Come on and do it with me.
It's fun; we'll never stop.

I'm a great big elephant,
I take big steps so slow.
I'd love to have you join me.
Ready now? Let's go.

I'm a little dog,
I love to run and run.
If you would do it with me,
We could have such fun.

Little Bunny Foo Foo

Little Bunny Foo Foo hopping through the forest
Scooping up the field mice, and bopping them on the head.
Down came the good fairy, and she said,
"Little Bunny Foo Foo, I don't want to see you,
Scooping up the field mice and bopping them on the head.
I'll give you three chances, and if you don't behave,
I'll turn you into a goon!"
But the very next day...
(Repeat until the last chance, then)
"Little Bunny Foo Foo, I gave you three chances,
and you blew it! So now I'm going to turn you into a Goon"
And Poof!
Little Bunny Foo Foo wasn't a bunny anymore,
she was a Goon!
And the moral of this story?
Hare Today Goon Tomorrow

Peter Hammers

Peter hammers with one hammer, one hammer
one hammer, (pound one fist on floor or leg)
Peter hammers with one hammer all day long.

Two hammers....(pound two fists)

Three hammmers....(pound two fists, one foot)

Four hammers....(pound two fists, two feet)

Five hammers....(pound two fists, two feet, nod head up
and down)

Peter's very tired now.....rub eyes, then lay head on hands.

Little Miss Muffet

Little Miss Muffet
(run thumb down side of face DSL for girl)

Sat on a tuffet,
(put one fist on top of other)

Eating her curds and whey.
(pretend to eat)

Along came a spider,
(put one hand over the other
and lock little fingers)

And sat down beside her
(move hands down, wiggle fingers)

And frightened Miss Muffet away!
(hide hands behind back)

This Old Man

This old man
he played one
he played nick nack on my thumb.
With a nick nack paddy whack,
give a dog a bone,
this old man came rolling home.

Two-shoe
Three-knee
Four-door
Five-hive
Six-sticks
Seven-eleven
Eight-gate
Nine-spine
Ten-hen

Five Little Fishies

Five little fishies swimming in a pool,
(wiggle fingers)

First one said, "The pool is cool."
(one finger up, wrap arms around body)

Second one said, "The pool is deep."
(two fingers up, measure deep)

Third one said, "I want to sleep."
(three fingers up, rest head on hands)

Fourth one said, "Let's dive and dip."
(four fingers up, hand dives and dips)

Fifth one said, "I spy a ship."
(five fingers up, peer out under hand)

Fisherman's boat comes,
(fingers form a V and move away from body)

Line goes ker-splash,
(pantomime throwing fishing line)

Away the five little fishies dash.
(wiggle five fingers away)

Duke of  York

Oh, the grand old Duke of York,
Had ten thousand men.
He marched them up to the top of a hill.
(walk fingers from shoulder to top of child's head)

Then he marched them down again.
When they were up, they were up,
And when they were down, they were down.
But when they were halfway up,
They were neither up nor down.

Ten Fingers

I have ten little fingers,
And they all belong to me.
(hold hands out in front)

I can make them do things,
Would you like to see?
I can shut them up tight.
(make a fist)

I can open them up wide
(spread fingers out)

I can put them together.
(clasp hands together)

I can make them all hide.
(put hands behind back)

I can make them jump high.
(raise hands over head)

I can make them jump low.
(lower hands to knees)

I can fold them like this
and hold them just so.
(fold hands in lap)

The Finger Band
tune: Mulberry Bush

The finger band has come to town
Come to town, come to town,
The finger band has come to town,
So early in the morning.

The finger band can play the drums

The flute

The clarinet

The trumpet

The violin

The trombone

The piano

The guitar

The Finger band has gone away.....

Touch My Hair

I touch my hair, my lips, my eyes.
I sit up straight; then I rise.
I touch my ears, my nose, my chin,
And then I sit back down again.

Ring Around The Rosie

Ring around the rosie,
Pocket full of posies,
Ashes, ashes, we all fall down.

Tiptoe around the rosie

Skip, hop, run, jump

One Little Astronaut

Five, four, three, two, one, zero!
Blast off! Went our little hero.
(start with five fingers up;
fold them down one at a time)

The little astronaut
Blasted off the world.
(with hands together quickly
thrust them overhead)

Once in orbit, he twirled;
(rotate body around)

He circled to the left,
And he circled to the right.
Then he was so dizzy
That he slept all night
(lay cheek on open palm)

Kookaburra

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Merry, merry king of the bush is he
Laugh, Kookaburra! Laugh, Kookaburra!
   Gay your life must be

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Eating all the gum drops he can see.
Stop, Kookaburra! Stop, Kookaburra!
       Leave some there for me

Kookaburra sits in the old gum tree
Counting all the monkeys he can see
     Stop, Kookaburra! Stop, Kookaburra!
        That's not a monkey that's me

There's a Hole in the Middle of the Sea

There's a hole In the middle of the sea,
There's a hole In the middle of the sea.
There's a hole, There's a hole.
There's a hole, In the middle of the sea.

There's a log In the hole In the middle of the sea,
There's a log In the hole In the middle of the sea.
There's a log, There's a log.
There's a log, In the hole In the middle of the sea

There's a bump On the log In the hole
In the middle of the sea
There's a bump On the log In the hole
In the middle of the sea
There's a bump, There's a bump,
There's a bump On the log
In the hole In the middle of the sea.

There's a frog On the bump On the log
In the hole In the middle of the sea
There's a frog On the bump On the log
In the hole In the middle of the sea
There's a frog, There's a frog.
There's a frog On the bump On the log
In the hole In the middle of the sea.

There's a fly On the frog On the bump On the log
In the hole In the middle of the sea.
There's a fly On the frog On the bump On the log

In the hole in the middle of the sea.
There's a wing, there's a wing, there's a wing
on the fly, on the frog, on the bump, on the log,
In the hole in the middle of the sea.

There's a flea, on the wing, on the fly, on the frog,
on the bump, on the log, In the hole In the middle of the sea.
There's a flea, on the wing, on the fly, on the frog,
