Chapter Ride Report

Jaekel Ranch, May 31

Report & Photos by Connie Baugher, Trail Scout

Nineteen Mt. Adams Chapter members and guests enjoyed a perfect day of riding on the Historic Jaekel Ranch.  Wendy Hall led us east for views of the Columbia River, Mt Hood, the Maryhill Museum, cattle and windmills. For some horses, it was the first time they’d encountered cattle.

Wendy and Scott are wonderful hosts and we wish to thank them for giving us the opportunity to ride on their beautiful ranch.  I think the pictures tell the story better than I can.

Wagons & Wildflowers

Saturday, May 2

Connie Baugher says that the flowers on this year’s ride were the best they’ve ever been. Twenty-two riders (half from the Mt. St. Helens Chapter!) enjoyed views both near and far.
